About us

Established in 1998, Traffic Watch has over 20 years’ of experience in traffic management services, not only in capturing and analysing traffic data, but also in the highway and traffic engineering industries. This depth of industry knowledge means that we understand what our clients need. And we work closely with them to make sure we deliver to their specific requirements. This has resulted in many long-term relationships.

Traffic Watch has invested in a digital approach to collecting data for our clients in order to provide accurate results. It also gives the client a visual understanding of the site that we are surveying, as well as quality assurance.

We understand that data collection is a vital component in highway and traffic engineering. Providing accurate data at the concept stage allows the engineers to design and model schemes with the confidence and knowledge that the data is a true reflection of the current conditions.

Traffic Watch provides traffic data and traffic survey analysis to a vast number of sectors, including:

  • Local authorities
  • Traffic engineering
  • Traffic management
  • Traffic consultants

We constantly monitor methods and equipment to make sure we stay one step ahead in delivering the most accurate and efficient data solutions. And our external advisors continually keep us up to date with the latest health and safety regulations.

This combination of in-depth knowledge and professionalism, along with our employment of the very latest technologies, means we are able to deliver accurate data every time.

The UK has committed to cutting carbon emissions in the UK by 35% by 2020 and 80% by 2050. Traffic Watch can help local authorities to achieve this by regularly monitoring vehicles entering and exiting their boroughs. This can be carried out using ANPR surveys on an annual or biannual basis. Regular monitoring will provide critical information, helping councils to meet their 2020 emissions targets.
